World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your items is a crucial element of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also offer bonus effects and improvements. They can be purchased from the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon gets upgraded, it gets a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. The weapon may also gain a number of upgrade components, which provide additional effects or attributes as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, however it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item the item.
In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded using an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be rebuilt using a variety of different types of upgrades to increase certain stats or add bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be used at once, and the effects are based on the quality of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage a weapon can cause.
It is generally recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats that are required by your build. Particularly, it is common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before any other gear, since this can increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be extremely efficient in increasing the damage of a weapon and other stats.
Armor
Item Upgrades let players enhance the performance of certain armors, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, through loot drops or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. upgrade item is possible for all types of armor, though certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's strength or defense by a small amount. However, some upgrade components can offer significant enhancements to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an epic item.
Some upgrades provide specific abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can prove beneficial in combat. For example they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, such as cutting down on the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or adding the ability to deflect attacks.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item could require multiple attempts. If a player wishes to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor that has the defense base ranging from 59 to 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with a base defense between 67-77, and so on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.
Despite popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Some armors offer a significant boost in the reduction of damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain builds. There are other ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration, or the challenger trait to lower the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effects, and can be repeated to get more tiers of potency.
The potion also gains an individual color code, which the player can select by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color of the potion also affects the potions' particle effects.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions, as well as awkward potions, now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. In addition, there are lingering potions that can be prepared with splash potions or Dragon breath. Also added is a thick potion that has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag to identify a boat's yard that is lateen. It could also be a reference to a gilded trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze which makes them more prevalent. At its current level it makes all types of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor a Y% chance to have an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require a small amount of energy.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. This trinket, at its current level will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor or items that are produced to help solve danger rooms.
This item, which appears like a eyes of a nymph appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond just reducing your field-of-view. At the moment, this trinket can increase the total health benefits of drinking potions of healing, waterskins and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within the Y tiles. This trinket cannot be combined with the Higher Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They can't be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will cause a random effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reforge the trinket as often as you want however it will always be able to produce the same effect.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by just a little.
