Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item like a weapon, armor, or ring. The item is replaced with another item of the same type however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To make them, you need a higher level token to reroll. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they will display a complete description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
In the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity, the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. item upgrade 's an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain number of items to be used in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Once the player has enough items, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional effect or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance of blocking. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but because it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of the item as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
